These software modems feature direct 64Kb/s PCM interface, HDLC, and block oriented I/O for processor sharing with
other applications. The code is structured for easy implementation of multiple independent modems in one processor.

Two multi-tone detection modules are available. The first module provides detection for CCITT Q.320 (R1 signaling),
Q.441 (R2 signaling), and call progress (busy, ring back, and dial tone). The second module implements DTMF detection.

Cellular Text Telephone Modem
The cellular text modem (CTM) provides transparency of traditional TTY signals over cellular systems. This product
conforms to the 3rd Generation Partnership Project specification and has been optimized for the C54x processor

FAX/Data Relay Control Software

Relay control software provides modem control, data formatting, and end-to-end communications control for relay
of FAX and data on compressed voice networks. Combined with ILLICO's assembly language Group 3 FAX and data modems,
relay software creates a complete relay capability in a single Digital Signal Processor. ILLICO FAX/data relay
control software is written in 'C' language for portability and ease of customization. Since the software implements
control rather than signal processing functions, it compiles efficiently into assembly language modules for the
host DSP. Complete FAX/data relay applications (control software and modems) are available for the T.I. TMS320C5x,
TMS320C54x, and the TMS320C3x/4x processors.
